I had a mixed experience at Woodfield Resort Chiang Mai. While the hotel had a beautiful pool and the staff were friendly and helpful, there were some significant issues with my initial room and the breakfast quality. The location was great, but I expected more from a four-star resort.

Rooms

My first room was dirty and infested with ants, which was very disappointing. After multiple complaints, I was switched to a better room that I found comfortable and clean.
Service

The staff were generally very friendly and helpful, making my time at the resort better despite other issues. They tried their best to assist me with my complaints.
Location
8.0
The resort's location was excellent, and it was convenient for getting around Chiang Mai. I appreciated the easy access to the city center.
Dining

Unfortunately, the breakfast was poor in standard with limited options. I expected better quality for a place of this caliber.

The pool was stunning and a highlight of the stay, although it attracted a lot of local visitors, which made it hard to relax.

My stay at Woodfield Resort Chiang Mai was a mix of ups and downs. While the room I received after some complaints was comfortable, the initial dirty room left a sour taste. The pool was lovely but overcrowded, making relaxation hard. Despite these issues, the staff was friendly and the breakfast offered a good variety.

Breakfast variety was good, but overall the dining experience felt a bit ordinary.

The pool was nice, especially for kids, but it was a public facility, which made it challenging to enjoy.

I had mixed feelings about my stay at Woodfield Resort. The pool was beautiful, but it was unfortunately a public one, making it hard to relax. While the staff were friendly, my initial room was dirty and uncomfortable due to a double booking, which took multiple complaints to resolve.

6.2/10

I had a decent stay at Woodfield Resort Chiang Mai, and while the swimming pool was a hit for my kids, the hotel itself felt tired and in need of some upkeep. The breakfast buffet was pretty ordinary, and I was surprised they charged extra for bacon. Overall, it's a mixed bag, offering some fun for families but not quite living up to its potential.

Rooms
7.0
The room had a private bathroom and a mini fridge, which was nice, but I encountered some cleanliness issues like ants creeping around.
Service
6.5
The staff were friendly and helpful, but the front desk seemed a bit limited in what they could assist with, especially when it came to transportation and currency exchange.
Location
6.0
The location was a bit of a letdown; it felt isolated from the main attractions, which meant I spent extra on tuk-tuks to get around.
Dining
6.5
The breakfast spread was just okay and not very fresh, so I didn't really enjoy it, though I did appreciate the home-made muffins.
Facilities
7.0
Facilities like room service and dry cleaning were available, but the pool area often remained loud late into the night, which was frustrating.

My stay at Woodfield Resort was mixed. The food at the restaurant was fantastic and had a great variety at breakfast, but the overall service was lacking. I faced issues with the front office staff not being able to assist with transportation and they were strict about currency exchange. Additionally, the noise from late-night guests was disruptive, making it hard to relax.

Rooms
5.0
While the room itself was comfortable, I did encounter cleanliness issues initially. I had to switch rooms due to double booking, and the first one was dirty with ants.
Service
5.0
The front office service was disappointing. They seemed unable to accommodate basic requests, though some staff were friendly.
Location
5.0
The hotel's location wasn't ideal for tourism. I had to spend money on tuk-tuks since there’s not much around. I would recommend staying closer to the old city.
Dining
8.0
Breakfast was definitely a highlight. The variety was fantastic, though I can't speak to other meals since I primarily had breakfast.
Facilities
5.5
The facilities were okay, but the pool area was often noisy. The pool seemed more like a public space rather than a tranquil resort amenity.
